I wanted a place where I could share with my widely scattered friends the sights I see every day. So whether you're an old friend or new, a long lost friend or one of the people I see every day, relax and just look around. Stay as long as you like. And if you feel like it, drop me a note.
The warm climate in Santa Barbara - both in its weather and its spirit - inspires a person to want to capture it somehow. In my case I took up photography because I not only enjoyed finding the locations but the photographic process as well. To say it another way, learning the techniques to capture the image taught me how to view the scenery in a new way which made me appreciate it more. Something clicked.
But keep in mind, this is not my day job. I do this for fun. I make no pretense that my images are at a professional's standard. If you are a professional photographer, or a knowledgable amateaur, I would gratefully appreciate your C&C. I'm always looking to learn something new. Besides, the more I learn, the better the images which makes this site better for everyone. Thank you for taking time to view my images.
