I grew up and attended school in Atlanta, and I'm still a Braves fan to this day. I visited California in 2005 and took a drive starting at Yosemite and the Napa Valley and headed south on the 101. I was so taken with the scenery that I decided to move. I arrived in Santa Barbara that autumn. In my day job I'm a chemist working for a manufacturer of light scattering instrumentation. Besides photography I enjoy cycling, scuba diving, and walking my dogs.
